Located near San Millán de la Cogolla, in the heart of Rioja Alta and with exceptional soil, altitude and climate conditions, Martínez Alesanco Family elaborate a whole range of wines from empranillo, Garnacha, Viura and Maturana Tinta grapes that would be impossible to obtain in a different environment.
NADA QUE VER
Amazing Reserva from Rioja Alta made with 90% Tempranillo and 10% Garnacha. Blackcurrants, blackberries and ripe cherries that evolve slowly along with the vanilla from the wood to show the great aroma complexity of this rich wine that leaves flavors lingering on the palate.
Elaborated with 100% Maturana Tinta grapes NADA QUE VER has little in common with the any other Rioja wines. A uniqueness that comes from being the first single-variety wine to go on sale since 2004 when the winery started to grow Maturana Tinta, a minority grape variety in Rioja, which was in danger of extinction.
A great concentration of aromas reminding of fresh grass with hints of green apple, banana, pineapple and melon.
Our most admired wine and the one which has received the most awards, made from Tempranillo and Garnacha, reminding of red and black berries with hints of vanilla, chocolate and licorice that blend with fine, smoky final notes.
A unique wine from our Rioja Alta area with fresh sour notes of raspberries, strawberries and grapefruit accompanied by sweeter ones of pear and apple with a very peculiar natural sparkle that provides it with liveliness.
100% Garnacha elaborated using over 100 years old vines. First stage of tank permanence resting on its lees, followed by an aging period in French oak barrels previously fortified during the fermentation of our Barrel-Fermented White.
