The fourth generation of the Pizzorno family continues with a family legacy of love and respect for nature born more than a century ago, without having left behind a single trace of our wine tradition. However, Carlos Pizzorno has been adding modern tecniques in grape growing and winemaking, in the search of maintaining oenologic excellence.

The vinification of each grape was made separately, following the oenologic maturity of each variety. Cold maceration during 12 hours. After fermentation, the must remained in contact with its pomace during 14 days. Malolactic fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, after which the blend is assembled so as to concentrate its fruity aromas and flavor, and its structure.
Grapes from our vineyard collected manually in the early morning with the purpose of arriving to the winery still at low temperatures, enabling skin maceration before pressing.
A blend of grapes from three diferent sections of our vineyard in Canelón Chico, with different degrees of maturity. Manual harvest of selected clusters, arriving to the winery in the early hours of the day to maintain very low temperatures.
Short maceration during six hours in contact with pomace, subsequent extraction of liquid that will start fermentation at controlled temperature (15 °C / 59 °F), attaining a pale pink color and retaining fully the flower and fruit aromas of the variety. Excellent aromas, good structure with medium body.
Grapes from our vineyard collected manually at optimal ripeness. When they arrive to the winery, manual selection of clusters, destemming, pressing and cold fermentation during 48 hours. Subsequent inocculation of selected yeasts, alcoholic fermentation for seven days in contact with pomace, attaining color and desired structure.
Yellow pale colour with green shades Intense aromas of passion fruit, green apple, pineapple, guava, tropical fruit, and fresh flowers Well balanced acidity, shows in mouth a surprising volume due an ageing “sur lies”.
Young and refreshing wine elaborated with Tannat and Malbec.
Sparkling wine made of Muscat of Alexandria and Chardonnay
A wine produced after the excellent 2008 harvest, with the varieties Tannat, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot from the best small parcels, with a careful selection of clusters harvested manually. When received in the winery, the grapes are subject to a second selection berry by berry.
